1. Who we are

KnowviaME™, LLC ("KnowviaME," "we," "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through the Sites. We are registered in Georgia, United States: 702 Xrd Ct, Powder Springs, GA 30027.

Privacy contact: [email protected]

2. The short version

We collect only what we need to run the platform, deliver what you purchased, and respond when you reach out. We never sell your personal information, and we never share it with third parties for their marketing. The rest of this policy is the detail behind that sentence.

3. What we collect

Account information. Name, email address, and login credentials when an account is created or a seat is assigned to you.

Purchase and membership information. What you purchased, membership level, seat assignments, order history, and renewal dates. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, or QuickBooks for invoiced orders) and are never stored on our systems.

Form submissions. When you complete our contact form or organization order form, we collect the information you enter (typically name, email, organization, role, and what you tell us about your needs). These forms are operated through our CRM provider (Salesmate) so our team can follow up.

Scheduling information. When you book a call, our scheduling provider (Calendly) collects your name, email, and selected time, and passes them to our CRM so we can prepare for and track the conversation.

Course activity. Course progress, completions, and platform activity necessary to operate your seat and, where applicable, to show progress to the account organizer who assigned your seat. Organizers see course progress and completion only.

Technical data. IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies necessary for the Sites to function. Course activity is analyzed within our platform's built-in analytics to operate and improve the courses; we do not run third-party advertising or marketing trackers.

What we do not collect. We do not collect your Insights Discovery® profile through the Sites. Your profile is yours; our courses point you back to it, but we do not store its contents.

5. Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small set of service providers who process personal data under our instructions: EzyCourse (platform hosting, accounts, courses, checkout), Salesmate (CRM and forms), Calendly (call scheduling), [PAYMENT PROCESSOR] (payments), and Bunny CDN (file and asset delivery). Service and marketing email is sent through these same systems; we use no separate email provider.

Each provider is bound by contract to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us. Our platform provider, EzyCourse, processes learner and customer data on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement, and additionally acts as an independent controller for platform account data under its own privacy policy. We never sell personal information, and we never distribute it to third parties for their own purposes.

Beyond our providers, we disclose personal information only when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the safety of others. If KnowviaME™, LLC is ever part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction; any successor remains bound by this policy, and we will notify account holders before a different policy applies.

6. International transfers

We are a US company, and data is processed in the United States [CONFIRM storage locations with EzyCourse and Salesmate]. Where we receive personal data from the UK or EU, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards: our platform provider's Data Processing Agreement provides for the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Module Two) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. [ACTION: request and sign both annexes via [email protected] — see notes] [ATTORNEY: Article 27 EU/UK representative decision]

7. How long we keep it

  • Account and seat data: for the life of the account or seat, then deleted or anonymized within 60 days of expiry or deletion
  • Form and CRM records: as long as needed to manage the relationship, reviewed after 24 months of inactivity
  • Purchase and tax records: as required by law

8. Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Residents of certain US states have similar rights under state privacy laws.

To exercise any right, contact [email protected]. We respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority; in the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), and in the EU, your national data protection authority.

9. Cookies

The Sites use cookies strictly necessary for login, checkout, and platform function. Our platform's built-in course analytics operate within those functions. We do not use third-party advertising or marketing cookies.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and regulators as the law requires.

11. Children

The Sites and services are for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and if we learn we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Sites link to third-party sites and services (for example, our scheduling page and downloadable resources hosted on our CDN). Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers only KnowviaME™.

13. Changes

We will post any changes here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email.
